Another Boring Weekend

This holiday has been quite rewarding....well even though it's not yet "goodbye hols". I had quite alot of events and jobs to take on as a challenge.

List of events and jobs:
1. Indochine party (it was a great party)
2. Newsroom Bar (URGh, the turnout wasnt that great, but for a tuesday, it was actually quite surprising to still see quite a number of people coming in)
3. Advertisement Designing job (For a client)
4. Website Designing Job (For the same client like no.3)
5. Website Designing Job 2 (For another company that my nice gay friend introduced to me)

This is shytty, no one wants to go clubbing with me recently, everyone's been tired. Sheena and Rachel are not going Thailand...haiz...who is that guy who backed out?! lolz! i still dunno who they are.

Have been talking and hanging out alot more with them, kristen, CHLOE (MY BABE!!!) blah blah blah. I just love them. Where are you Peline?! u've been acting like a total housewife and career woman since u stopped studying. All of us misses you..please tag on my tagboard to tell me whether ur ok and also things u've been actually messing with. I miss your mum's cooking and ur 'scorpion'. LOLZ!

Amnesia has always been around for me since dunno when. Sheena baby had to remind me that my blog wasnt really updated ever since "eons" ago. Im trying hard now to really get it all up here. URGH!

OK im getting spastik! time to knock out and play some warcraft. CIAOZ!

my reflections on KMS

Hey Ms Jamie Teo, i hope you can see that i have been trying hard to really score well for KMS. It's realli been tough as i really have been studying it all along. I feel that this blog entry will help me to express what i am going to relate to you regarding what has been for me throughout this whole semester.

We had learnt about what is KMS and the individual strategies of knowledge management at the very beggining of the semester. The use of SECI model by Professor Nonaka has been quite rewarding in doing the test questions which i find that i had to actually apply the respective concepts of socialization, externalization, combination as well as internalization. We had abit of time with the strategies codification and personalization which i thought was applied in the daily routine. We get personalized through chatting, even just simple chats during the lecture regarding questions that we do not know. Codification was really easy for us as we had MeL to support us with lecture notes. This e-learning tool is good in a sense that we can actually do a virtual chat which we did in one of the e-learning weeks of KMS. I remember my quote was "I have seen so many of my friends who are so tired, yet still have the motivation to blog." That was what i saw in the exam question as well. haha.

What was tough was actually the technology section of KMS. We had to learn how to implement KMS as well as the ethics of KMS to be performed even when im writing this entry. This is a personal blog so no offences, i just write all about my "adventures". Even before doing ethics as a lesson, i already knew that some things should be written and some things should not be written on blogs. I had a personal experience myself when i was 17. My friend was totally pissed off when i wrote about the discussion with her outside on the blog. It was about bed secrets and stuff. I remembered she refused to talk to me for 3 months. It was really bad.

We learnt about data mining and data warehouse which had a big difference because everyone thinks that they are the same which is not the truth. Lots of people find enterprise portals interesting because we had a good activity of drawing an impression of a portal during tutorial. I felt that the particular lesson was not only just personalizing with each other, but also a knowledge sharing process that could be indulged with witty and critical speeches.

In summary, i feel that knowledge management does really manage people as well as information in a sense that we cultivate ourselves and change our personal behaviors to actually accomodate how we are going to share knowledge with each other. Transferring, creating and re-using knowledge does mean something to me. I had indeed gained alot from this learning process.
